What are cookies?

The Data Controller handles, stores and processes the aforementioned personal data with electronic tools. The data will be stored both on digital media and on paper, organised in databases, and on any other suitable type of medium, in compliance with the minimum security measures in accordance with the Technical Regulations on the matter of minimum security measures, Attachment B of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, as well as respect for the provisions laid down by Heading II (Principles) and Heading IV (Data Controller and Data Manager) of the Regulation.


Scope of Awareness & Communication of the Data

Third parties and/or intermediaries as well as, within Alfasigma (also referred to as the “Company"), Data Managers and Data Processors appointed by the Company, in the exercise of their duties may become aware of the information collected through the installation and use of cookies on your terminal.

In the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes, the Company may also make use of the following categories of subjects that may similarly become aware of the information collected through the installation and use of cookies on your terminal.

  • Qualified subjects that provide the Company with supplies or services instrumental to the purposes referred to above, subjects and companies that may be called upon to manage and/or take part in the management and/or maintenance of our internet sites and the electronic and/or digital transmission tools, appropriately appointed as External Data Managers in accordance with Article 28 of the Regulation by means of dedicated appointment deed, with the indication of the methods of processing and security measures that must by adopted for the management and retention of the personal data of which the Company is the Data Controller;

Transfer of the Data Abroad

Your personal data and the information collected through the installation and use of cookies on your terminal may be transferred abroad, in compliance with the provisions of the current regulations, where the Company pursues its interests.

In this case, the Data Controller guarantees henceforth that the transfer of the data outside the EU shall take place in compliance with articles 44 and subsequent of the Regulation and the applicable legal measures stipulating, where necessary, agreements that ensure an adequate level of protection.

The data concerning you shall be retained in accordance with the following criteria:

  • for a period of time no longer than necessary to fulfil regulatory obligations.
