A_MAB. Alfasigma Millennial Advisory Board
Giving voice to our Youngest
This listening and engagement project is directed to the primary internal stakeholders, our employees, and to the youngest segment of the company population, in particular.
The Alfasigma Millennial Advisory Board or A_MAB is an internal committee made up of our youngest associates (born between 1981 and 1996), who are periodically consulted on communication, engagement, HR and marketing initiatives.
The Board was established in a period of great change and organisational rejuvenation: in fact, in 2019, 86.4% of new hires came from the millennial talent pool.
The idea stemmed from the fact that millennials have an approach to communication and a point of view that are very different from the previous generations (Generation X and Baby Boomers, which are similar to one another). Their needs, scales of values and way of using messages
are completely different.
The objective is that of integrating a point of view that is often overlooked in the company’s initiatives through regular listening and proactive engagement activities.
The A_MAB gets together a couple times a month to collect feedback on projects to be launched as well as starting points and suggestions to develop new initiatives closer to the perspective of the younger generations.
As of now, the A_MAB is made of twenty Alfasigma employees, men and women representing both Italian and foreign associates from each department – from R&D to Manufacturing, Marketing and supporting services like administration and regulatory affairs.
