Our commitments
Integrity matters to us
We are committed to conducting all interactions with stakeholders ethically and professionally, upholding integrity, transparency and respect while supporting independent and responsible collaboration.
On this page you will find information about the transparency of our interactions, responsible practices and principles relating to international compliance and governance.
Ethics, risk and compliance
Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of patients and to be a trusted partner to the broader healthcare community. We pursue this mission by acting with integrity, applying the highest ethical standards and embedding them in our day-to-day decisions. Through our Global Code of Conduct, we set clear principles that guide behaviours across our organisation and help ensure that every aspect of our business is carried out responsibly.

At Alfasigma, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals are encouraged to share ideas and raise concerns in good faith, without fear of retaliation.
To support this, we have implemented a Speak Up (whistleblowing) system that enables anyone to report conduct (including omissions) that may breach laws and regulations or our Global Code of Conduct.
All employees (including trainees, managers and directors), corporate bodies (such as the shareholders’ meeting, board of directors, and board of statutory auditors, etc.) and third parties who have interacted with Alfasigma may submit reports.
Our primary reporting channel is EthicsALine a secure web platform managed by an external provider. The platform is designed to collect either written or oral reports that can also be submitted anonymously. In case of an oral report, the platform alters the tone of voice, thus making it unrecognisable; if someone would rather report by name using the oral channel, they can state their name.
Irrespective of your choice, all reporting channels implemented by Alfasigma ensure the confidentiality of the reporter, the reported person and the content of the report.
Reports must be made in good faith, based on precise and consistent elements and relate to verifiable facts.
The following matters should be reported through dedicated channels and will not be processed via this service:
- Adverse reactions related to the intake of drugs marketed by the Alfasigma Group - For this purpose click here to report an adverse event.
- Emergency situations requiring immediate response - Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your public emergency services.

Partnering with patients
Building meaningful partnerships with patient communities means taking time and care, and being prepared to listen. We are constantly evolving our approach with our patient community partners.
Sustainability
We conduct our business in line with recognised principles of responsible business conduct in compliance with environmental, social and governance laws.
We seek to operate by identifying, preventing and addressing potential adverse impacts connected to our operations.
We aim to contribute positively to communities in which we operate, safeguard the environment and uphold transparent and accountable governance.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We reference these as guidance on how we can positively contribute through our business operations and corporate responsibility agenda.
Transparency and reporting
Mutual growth, transparency and patient centricity guide our dialogue with the healthcare community. We believe that open, responsible exchange with Healthcare Professionals and organisations strengthens our research and development and, ultimately, helps us deliver more effective treatments for patients.
Our collaboration with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organisations (HCOs), and Patient Organisations (POs) can take different forms, including clinical research, scientific advice, participation in conferences and educational initiatives. These relationships are governed by national and international standards and are grounded in respect for each party’s role, within a framework of ethics and accountability, supported by robust internal controls and, where applicable, independent audits.
